Was lucky enough to get Sidewalk cover with this, stoked!

Congrats on the cover.
I would have 100% cloned out the light and the rest of the wave in the background.
Thanks man! I hear you. I was pretty undecided when I sent it off. We planned the photo to be part of an article and kinda wanted to make the whole thing look like we’d gone out with the intent to shoot photos even if it was winter and cold as anything. That was why I had originally decided to keep the genny and lights in there while shooting. I’ve just done a quick edit and taken out the lights and genny and it looks alright.
i think that the background & the lights are dope! its a big part of the photo, its harmonic with all the rest of the photo and part of the reassons this photo makes your imagination & fellings work
@tamuz
I agree – it really shows the kind of session that we’ve all had, renting a genny and lights, praying that no one knocks it over and you lose your deposit…the things we do to keep skating in the darkest months of the year! So in this instance it’s more than justified!
When I saw this in Smiths Burrell, flipped it open and saw who shot it………lets just saw stoked was an understatement!!
Nice one and keep up the bangers
what? clone out the wave in the bg? no way, context, without distracting from the focus
I also have to disagree about cloning away the background elements. The photo is perfect like it is.
