"such a sick spot big tone! show me whats down below so I can see how far down it is. Maybe try it as a vert?"
"yah its not to often that i go farther than 105, sometimes though. But I do go under it a bit as well. Its just versatile when I want to get a shot from farther back and I need to adjust. finding the rite angle then finding the rite lens is tough sometimes, so when I’m working from a distance and I like what I see, I can zoom in or out to get what I need. Im not a huge zoom lens fan, but for now its pretty helpful."
"the 105 prime was bitchin, just needed to make a choice for the now. I didn’t have a longer lens and that offered me a range that I couldn’t afford to not have it, but I couldn’t have both. In the future i’d love to have all primes. The vr 70-200 used is over 1200 (the older kind), but the previous model (80-200) was 700 and just as sharp from what ken rockwell was sayin. Michelle is a bit funny with that stuff but ill remind her to get em from yah and I’ll def pick one up."
"@allen I haven’t had a chance to get a full look at the mag (gotta order one or a few to come here to van). Thats interesting that lumy messaged yah with no details. Do they want you to test it out (that would be sick)? I’m interested to see how they are and what they look like, the older ones are pretty good from what i’ve heard from a few friends using them.
I have an 80-200 2.8, chose to go with the older non vr version for what im doing. Its a good versatile lens that focuses fairly good. It’s sharp but not as sharp as a 105 prime i got rid of to get it. But for what it offers, i use it tons.
I’m interested in the non interest, i’d be down with that."
"classic looking photo, little to hot with the flash there on the ground, maybe get it off the ground and flag it a bit?"
